From generation to generation
about capturing…
moments families will always treasure
I’m here to capture the real moments that make your Mitzvah celebration unforgettable.
The spontaneous laughter with friends, the pride in your family’s eyes, and the quiet moments when the significance of the day truly sinks in.
I’m here to capture the smiles across the room, the excitement on the dance floor, and the traditions that make this milestone so meaningful.
My goal is to see your family as you truly are and capture those moments naturally — preserving the spirit of the day exactly as it unfolds.

I had the pleasure of working with Evan for our family event photos, and I can’t recommend him enough! He has an amazing eye and truly knows how to capture those special, fleeting moments that mean so much. From the start, Evan was incredibly patient and kind, making everyone feel at ease, especially with the kids. It’s clear that he builds strong relationships with his clients—he took the time to get to know us and made sure we were all comfortable. The results speak for themselves; the photos are absolutely beautiful and perfectly reflect our family’s personality. If you’re looking for someone who is talented, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about making your experience memorable, Evan is the one to go to!

Evan did an AMAZING job photographing our son’s Bar Mitzvah. From our initial Zoom consultation to quickly delivering a gallery of the most beautiful photos, he was such a pleasure to work with. He is professional, personable, extremely reliable and quickly responds to any questions. You can tell he really loves what he does by the passion he puts into his work. I was absolutely blown away at how beautiful the photos turned out. The coloring, clarity, and combination of naturally posed and candid shots really reveals Evan’s talent and artistic eye. I am so glad we chose him to capture such beautiful memories for us to treasure, and would HIGHLY recommend him for any of your photography needs.

Bar Mitzvah
Evan was amazing to work with for our daughter’s bat mitzvah! He was flexible when coordinating our meetings and photo shoots – which wasn’t easy being that all of our dates fell in the middle of the High Holidays. Most importantly, the photos are beautiful and her photo album is breathtaking! We look forward to when it’s our son’s bar mitzvah in a few years and we’ll get to work with Evan again!

Evan Guston Photography is a 5 out of 5 stars. Evan is so talented. From one artist to another, he has a true talent. He has vision for the art and you can see how he captures the image expression. He listens to his clients and gets to really understand what they want and connects to the family so they all feel special for that special moment. In our case, it was a Bar Mitzvah. But he went out of his way to capture the patriarch of our family on a separate occasion. I am very grateful for his time, service and his attention to detail because the proof are the images that we will cherish for a lifetime. I highly recommend Evan and will book him for other family occasions in the near future.

Bar Mitzvah
It’s best to book your Mitzvah photography as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed. I photograph only one event per day, which allows me to give each family my full attention and focus. Because of this, dates can fill quickly. If you feel my style is the right fit for your celebration, I always recommend reaching out sooner rather than later to secure your date.
My home base is the greater Los Angeles area, where I photograph many Mitzvah celebrations throughout the San Fernando Valley and surrounding communities. That said, I’m always happy to travel. I regularly photograph events across Southern California and have traveled much farther when families invite me to be part of their celebration — even as far as the United Kingdom. If your event is outside the Los Angeles area, just let me know the details and I’ll be happy to discuss the possibilities.
I work quickly so you can begin enjoying your images right away. Your edited photos are typically ready within five days, giving you access to the highlights from your celebration soon after the event. If you’ve ordered an album, I’ll also prepare a pre-designed album within about seven days, making it easy for you to review and select your favorite images for the final design.
